Modes set
MARS consists basically of two game modes. In the first, PVP (which stands for Player versus Player), you can look at other real players in several ways:
- Elimination: your goal in this section is to defeat your opponents as many times as possible. The winning team is one that reaches the preset number of deletions or eliminate as many opponents before the time of starting over.
- Deathmatch (Team): here, you must eliminate all members of the opposing team to victory and end each round. The defeated soldiers are "revived" only the beginning of the next round. The team that wins the most rounds is declared victorious.
- Achievement: In this mode, each team needs to collect a set number of Action Points. To win you must collect a set amount of resources first or get the most points before the timer hits zero.
- Demolition: its mission and its staff is to detonate a bomb while the other team must prevent the explosion hit the target. The defeated players return to play only at the beginning of the next round.
- Capture the Flag: as its name suggests, this mode your team must capture the enemy team's flag and bring it back to its base. Wins the first team to capture the pre-established number of flags or who have collected the most flags before time runs out.
In turn, PVE mode (which stands for Player versus Environment) players act cooperatively to defeat hordes of computer-controlled enemies. In each round, new and more powerful opponents. The matches are based on eight rounds of pure action.
Patents
The qualification system MARS is based on patents, as well as in armies. That way, you start your career as a mercenary and a Recruit. Altogether there are 40 patents available in the game.
With its breakthrough in the game, your character will acquire the Experience Points (also known as EXPs) - which allow you to go up a level and reach the most important patents. With each new patent obtained, you free equipment and weapons more powerful and efficient to help you on your journey.
